Employed at Open GI, I've worked on maintaining eCommerce software. This software is written in Java 8 and 11, utilizing Apache Tomcat systems, MySQL Databases, XML config, Gradle, and Azure DevOps.

During my time at Open GI, i have worked on a large suite of broker solutions, including applications that process millions of quotations per day, as well allowing brokers to build and provide additional ratings code.

Working at this insurance software specialist, I've been responsible for large scale projects and improvments, investigating customer issues with the support team and delivering specific change requests.

This has been my first indulgence into the professional world of software design, and has been a fantastic learning experience, maintaining older, essential systems, and finding ways to communicate to newer technologies
